Vash the Stampede:

Appearance:
Vash has golden blonde hair usually worn spiked up but falls down when wet or when it hasn't been fixed properly (i.e. when he's been knocked out for a few days). He has bright green eyes that have a habbit of glowing freakishly when he gets real mad (quite creepy, actually). He normally wears a long red, leather trench coat with many buckles, but he's occasionally seen wearing "normal" clothes like button-up shirts and regular pants. It appears that he sleeps in sweat pants and a pull-over shirt. Underneath the clothes, he has MANY scars. Oh yeah, he likes to wear nifty yellow-tinted sundglasses (available on eBay if you do a Trigun search; buy your pair today!)

Powers/Weapons:
Vash uses a big silver gun with his right hand (.45 Colt, right? I'm not too good on naming weapons). He can also activate the Angel Arm with that hand. His left arm was blown off, but he has a mechanical/fake left arm with which he hides a big ole gun (again, I suck at naming weapons).

Personality:
Vash is one of those characters who immediately grabs you. He's hilarious. Everything he does in the beginning is crazy and funny and stupid. He's just a zany guy. You have to love him from the moment you see him. I've yet to meet a single person who doesn't like Vash. He's cheerful, good-natured, and protective of those around him. But What sets Vash apart from all the other funny/crazy characters in anime is that he's relatable on some strange level to everyone who watches him. He's hiding his pain behind a mask of happiness (anyone here NOT know what that's like?). He's had a rough go of it, and he feels like he has to be alone to protect others from being hurt. In short, Vash is one of those genuinely NICE guys that we all want as a lover or a friend.
