Duo Maxwell (Gundam Wing) Picture

Duo is like Seeu in many ways. First, there are the obvious similarities: the overly long hair (usually worn pulled back), the all-black clothing, the use of a scythe-like weapon, etc. Then we get into the fact that both of these men have something of a connection to death. Seeu was once called “the living incarnation of death” and Duo is called “the god of death” or “shinigami”. Everyone that Duo has cared about (up until the start of the series) has died. The same goes for Seeu. Both of them share feelings of isolation. Both of them have connections to the number two. Duo, for obvious reasons (his name, his Gundam being 02, etc.) and Seeu because he was the prince and sole survivor of the second planet, Asu.

Mikagami Tokiya (Flame of Recca) Picture+Picture 2

First of all, Mika is a dead ringer for Seeu. Several friends of mine noticed this when I showed them Seeu. The long, silver hair (Seeu’s looks silver in the black and white manga), often worn in a high pony tail, the pale, narrow eyes, and the dark clothes all remind me of Seeu. Mika is also very mature and intelligent, very quiet, brooding, and seen as a loner. He is the chosen master of a legendary weapon (much like the living weapons of PL), called the Ensui.

Himura Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin) Picture

This was pointed out to me by someone via e-mail (if you would like me to link to your e-mail address as credit for this, let me know!). There’s the long red hair worn in a pony tail and the dark, tragic past. Kenshin was nearly emotionless, just like our dear Seeu, before a woman named Tomoe changed his life. Also, if you look at it this way (in that Seeu has romantic interest in Kaguya) then he and Kenshin have similar taste in women. Kenshin’s love interest Kaoru has long black hair, blue eyes, and a very cheerful personality. She’s also somewhat demanding. Remind you of anyone? ^^;
